1. Get Started
Building a Facebook ads campaign with Kliken is very simple. Before we begin you must ensure you have a published Facebook business page, you will not be able to advertise on Facebook without one.
Once the Facebook page is published you’ll head over to your Ecwid dashboard and click on the marketing tab under store management. From here you will click on the Get started button under Promote and sell on Facebook.
2. Connect your Facebook account
You'll first need to connect your Facebook account. If you have multiple Business pages you'll be asked to select the page you'd like to advertise. If you have unpublished pages you'll be presented with the option to publish the page. You must publish your page in order for your ads to go live. This step allows them to go live immediately.
3. Targeting
We’ll ask you where you want to target your marketing efforts. This can be done on a country, region, or radius level. To change your targeting level, simply click on your target preference and click on the “Change” button located on the right of the screen. Then, enter the area you would like to target. You can also change your language preferences on this page if necessary.
4. Categories
You’ll be asked to select the category your Facebook page is registered under and the condition of the product that you're selling.
You'll then be asked which store product you'd like to advertise. The categories that are checked are enabled for advertising. Unchecked categories will not be used. You can refresh these options at any time if you make a mistake using the “Refresh My Store” button on the right of your screen.
5. Store Review
You're almost at the finish line! Here you'll be asked to review and fix errors in your store. Products that are out of stock or have errors will not be advertised.
By clicking on the view details tab for each product, you’ll be able to see the products that are affected by the error on the left column and instructions on how to fix the error on the right. For some errors, you'll be able to select the product and apply the changes necessary directly on the details window. If you believe you have fixed the items you want, click on the button at the bottom of the page that says “I fixed this, refresh my store” to see your changes.
6. Preview
“Voila”! Here you'll be shown a preview of your Facebook ad along with your campaign summary. If you want to make any changes at this point, you can change your Categories and Targeting settings under the Campaign Summary of this page. You can also change your campaign at any time after purchase. If everything looks great, you are now ready for purchasing and for your ads to go live!
