Kliken charges three main fees:
- Platform Fee (Previously our Automation Fee): Charged monthly, this fee allows access to the Kliken platform's features and capabilities, including the connection of your site and store to the Google and Facebook Ad platforms. This fee is required for campaigns with ad spend, and failure to pay this may result in the suspension of other campaigns you may have running.
- Management Fee (Previously our Processing Fee): This fee is percentage-based and covers various costs incurred in the set-up and active management of the campaign, including direct account support. The management fee applies to Google and Facebook campaigns which require ad spend budgets.
- Ad Spend: This is the amount of money you will be deploying with the ad platform over 30 days to run the ads.
What is the link between what I am charged and the services you receive?
- Platform Fee:
- The platform fee allows us to immediately sync your information & site details with the partner, to our platform, and onwards to the selected advertising platform of your purchased services. Without this connection in place, updates to your store, services, products & content will not be available, which will prevent the advertising campaigns from being able to populate, or update, and could result in the campaigns having decreased performance, or even advertising platforms themselves suspending the campaigns due to inconsistent content between the ads and the websites.
- With regards to products that utilize marketing campaign budgets - Kliken operates a pre-paid campaign process. At the time of purchase, the customer is pre-paying for the selected advertising spend budget. Once the campaign is approved and goes live, costs begin to be incurred by the campaign - charged by the respective advertising platform of the purchased campaign type. Costs are incurred by the campaign on a search-by-search basis and can vary depending on a number of factors.
- As these charges are incurred, Kliken deducts them from the pre-paid marketing budget specific to the purchased campaign and remits them on behalf of the customer to the advertising platform. It is important to note here - that these costs are charged by, and paid to, the platforms and are for advertising that has occurred. Therefore there is no option or route to ‘undo’ this. While campaigns can be edited at any time for future advertising, the costs are non-refundable as soon as they are incurred as Kliken has paid these funds onwards to the advertising platform on behalf of the customer.
- Any account with a valid platform fee is eligible to create an unlimited number of Google Product Listings campaigns.
- Management Fee:
- This fee covers costs incurred in the processing of the payments, data and active support throughout the course of your campaign.
- Ad Spend:
- For applicable products, this is the pre-paid budget that will be allocated to running of your ads on the ad platform - and is collected from you on behalf of the ad platforms, by Kliken.
- Without this, campaigns requiring ad spend will not be able to operate.
